Saves space and cost: Polytec Laser Surface Velocimetry at the HMI 2014
For two years, our customers benefit from the compact LSV-2000, the speed and length measures used reliably. A unique feature is particularly high measuring field depth of + / - 60 mm at a working distance of just 300 mm. The case of short working distances unusually large velocity range of -7700 ... 0 ... +7700 m / min allows compact arrangements, where previously long working distances were necessary. Thus, the LSV not only saves space, but also costs.
The integration into the existing olimpia splendid system simply via freely configurable pulse outputs, Ethernet or RS-422. The LSV replaced as existing encoder easily and without adjustments on the PLC side.
